I work with individuals who are navigating questions of identity, relational dynamics, trauma and life transitions. Clients I work with are often coping with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and/or family challenges. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, curious, and engaging and I strive to meet individuals where they are.

I recognize the central importance of human relationships in clients’ lives and see the therapist-client relationship as an invaluable mode of change and source of growth in therapy. I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy informed by the interpersonal process. I also draw on elements of DBT, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy in my work.

My professional background includes practicum training at UNC Counseling and Psychological Services, facilitation of group therapy focused on mindfulness and self-compassion, and work on Assertive Community Mental Health Treatment Teams throughout NC.
